Alexander is a Research Assistant at Earth Capital Nexus and the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, LSE, and a PhD candidate at the University of Oxford, Environmental Change Institute. He is a member of the Global Finance and Economy Group at the ECI. His research focuses on the interplay between climate change, environmental degradation and the macroeconomy, specifically sovereign debt and international macro-finance.
