Roberto Spacey Martín

Roberto Spacey Martín leads works on Resilience Alignment at Earth Capital Nexus at the Grantham Research Institute for Climate Change and the Environment. His research focuses on making existing financial flows more resilient to environmental change. Roberto is an expert on combining geospatial and textual analysis for enhanced climate- and nature-related risk assessment. He has also published research on transition plans, corporate disclosures, adaptation taxonomies, the impacts of climate change on central banks, nature-related risk assessment methodologies, and other related areas.

Most prominently, Roberto developed the first company benchmark on adaptation and resilience – the Corporate Resilience Alignment Benchmark. The methodology is being surfaced as an open-access tool, ResilienceArc, to be launched at 2026 London Climate Action Week.
